  "Dinner and a show, or a show is dinner, close to the heart."
  Legend says that saying was etched on the tomb of an ancient Japanese warrior, and is something I held dear today.
  When our favorite hibachi place in Solon closed due to the owners' retirement, we went in search of another place to get enjoy hibachi, and decided to try this one. I have had hibachi in many cities, and the formula is pretty much the same everywhere, with the main difference being the showpersonship of the chef. The chefs here were very personable and great. There was much spatula and fork flipping, rice was flying about like a snowstorm. They even throw broccoli to be caught in the mouths of hungry diners. It isn't often you see someone tossing salad items in a restaurant!
  Everything was pretty standard hibachi fare, I ordered my steak rare and it was served that way. The sashimi was fresh and delicious.
  This could have been 5 stars but for two things:
  I didn't get a drink refill until I flagged down the server at the end of the meal, and the soap dispenser in the men's room was empty. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume there is a hand washing sink with soap in the kitchen, but gross....

  I was visiting from out of town and took a chance. Glad I did, the food was amazing!!
  The staff were all nice.
  Totally recommend this joint!!

  Authentic!!  Very accommodating for adapting the meal to gluten free. The chicken fried rice side dish was enough for dinner and tomorrow's lunch. They gave me a tasty sauce to replace the soy sauce. The steak fried rice side was plenty for my husband. Our son had the hibachi steak and chicken with rice and veggies. A great place to celebrate a birthday. A gong and all!! The theatrics for the hibachi grill was entertaining.

  An entertaining hibachi experience with great service (if you bring kids of almost any age, they will really like it). Chicken, filet mignon and fried rice on the flattop were all extremely good.

  I've never really been a fan of hibachi spots. As good as the show might be, I've always felt the food quality is invariably compromised. This place is no exception. Also tried the a la carte menu & have not been impressed. The sushi is decidedly average. Miso soup...dishwater.
  
  The only decent thing on the menu that I've tried, is the udon soup. I've had their shrimp version & was lucky that the seafood was fresh. Not a bad choice for a cold fall afternoon.
